Hi Mark,
I built this instead of sending a resume.
I am Eliecer (Eli) Vera, and I’d love to help Goody grow.
Why Goody
Click to flip
Two roles. Both a fit.
I am genuinely interested in either position. Click to explore what I would bring to each.
Growth Engineer
Moving metrics, not just closing tickets.
Customer Engineer
Where product meets people.
What I bring

Full-Stack Depth
9+ years. PHP/Laravel, React/TypeScript, GraphQL, Node.js, AWS. I work across the entire stack without needing hand-holding on either side.
Leadership Trajectory
IC to Tech Lead to Engineering Manager in under 3 years at Swoogo. Still code 30% of my time. I lead by building, not just delegating.
SaaS DNA
Every role at a SaaS company: Swoogo, Skillshare, eMindful. I understand subscription metrics, enterprise shipping cadence, and how to keep paying customers happy.
Speed to Ship
Built a rideshare platform from scratch as CTO. Delivered customer-requested features same-sprint at Swoogo. Built this site to apply. Action over planning, always.
AI is my daily toolkit, not a buzzword
At Swoogo, I am driving AI automation and orchestration initiatives as Engineering Manager. I design strategies to systematize operations using LLMs. This is not a side interest. It is core to how I work.
I use Claude Code every day. This site was built with it. I also work with prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and AI agents in production contexts.
I may not have Goody's exact stack today. That does not slow me down. With 9+ years of picking up new frameworks on the job and AI tools that compress weeks of learning into days, I ramp up fast. I shipped production code in Yii2 with zero prior experience within my first month at Swoogo.
For Growth, that means faster experiment cycles and quicker iteration. For Customer Engineering, it means faster turnaround on client requests and smarter internal tooling. I am not learning these tools. I am already fluent.
